Foglia Stool

The Foglia collection comes in the chair, and stool styles.

Foglia is, in many respects, an archetype. Not only does it mark Billiani’s entry into the world of design, awarded by Catas for innovation and immediately selected for the Compasso d’Oro and the Red Dot Design Awards, but it is also the chair par excellence, what a child would trace by drawing simple and clean lines. In Foglia, Marco Ferreri explores the idea of lightness all the way until achieving a very thin wooden shell, a continuous surface of a millimetre and a half on a solid wood structure. Solid yet fluid, elegant and with character, this chair has become an icon and the model for many ultralights to follow.
